We loved the private setting and the fact that there was no technology except for a radio/CD player and some classic books and games. It was a picturesque rural setting, and Brenda, our host, was lovely.

The lodge is situated on a narrow lane off the main road, offering privacy and a picturesque rural setting. With no TV or WiFi, we were able to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. The lodge had everything we needed, including a small library of classic books and games. The underfloor heating made it cozy and the host, Brenda, was lovely and welcoming. Loved the "towels" provided, they were more like sandpaper! Just what I needed for a rough exfoliation experience. Also enjoyed the "kitchenette" that rivals the size of a mouse's kitchen. So cute!

Not a fan of the "free private parking", I would have preferred parking my car on the roof. Much more adventurous.
